Thanks to the incentives provided by the Innovative Machinery measure - the incentive made available by the Ministry of Economic Development with the aim of supporting the implementation, in the Regions of Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Apulia and Sicily, of investment programmes aimed at enabling the transition of the manufacturing sector towards the so-called "Intelligent Factory" - under Axis 3, Investment Priority 3a, Action 3.5.2. of the 2014-2020 ERDF National Operational Programme "Entreprises and Competitiveness", in the framework of the Fund for Sustainable Growth, Parmon S.p.A. carried out a project for the automation of production lines (no. B79J21001290004) ) through which: automate the raw material supply system on the production lines; automate the internal transport system of raw materials and finished products; expand the production lines with the introduction of an integrated and automated line of hygienic sleepers; introduce the Manufactoring Execution System (MES) based on the interconnection of systems related to Industry 4.0.

Innovative investments aimed at increasing the level of efficiency and/or flexibility in the performance of activities capable of enabling the technological and digital transformation of the company through the use of the enabling technologies related to the Impresa 4.0 plan listed in Annex 1 to the ministerial decree of 30 October 2019 have been implemented.
